It's difficult for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have long been mastered.

This is the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are all that remain for a squad that has achieved everything.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

What's definite is this hundred was considerably tougher to anticipate.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this performance followed six innings in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had failed to pass 30.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it has been a disappointing period because I feel like my form was missing at all," said Healy.

When she was out her side needed 66 more at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the confidence to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, should it happen, we are confident we can do it."

That comment will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has become more firm - this victory following success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a match against old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.
